We wanted to create an e-book to document our research on people from the Caribbean who have promoted the use of patois in their poetic lyricism. We also wanted to immortalise the script written by our young collective and this version of I'NA SUIT YOU.

We are looking for

• written instances of Jamaican Patois or videos/audio clips connected to London (especially anything Miss Lou related)

• Materials related to Miss Lou Bennett’s time in the UK at RADA  

• Materials related to RING DING (60s TV show in Jamaica) especially clips 

• 2nd or 3rd etc generation immigrants to conduct oral history interviews 

• Anyone who wants to team up to access similar materials and make a case for digitisation. Let’s start building our shared online archive!
